Trainee Planter Program - Digital Systems & Plantation Technology

Role Summary: This trainee drives the digital transformation of the estate. They implement and manage Geographic Information Systems (GIS), digital payroll systems, IoT sensors, and data analytics to improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management: Digitize field records (e.g., block mapping, yield history) into central databases.

GIS/GPS Mapping: Use drones and GPS technology to map field boundaries, monitor bush health, and plan drainage.

System Implementation: Roll out digital payroll and attendance systems (biometrics) to reduce errors and fraud.

Reporting Dashboards: Build dashboards that provide real-time data on crop off-take, labor efficiency, and fuel usage to management.

Training: Train field staff and supervisors on how to use handheld devices and mobile applications for data entry.
