About the Role

Absa Bank Kenya is seeking a dynamic and experienced Digital Product Manager to join their team. This role is crucial in driving the development and success of digital products, ensuring they meet customer needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities

The Digital Product Manager will be responsible for:

• Defining and executing the product strategy and roadmap for digital products.
• Conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
• Translating customer needs and business requirements into detailed product specifications.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, sales) throughout the product lifecycle.
• Prioritizing product features and backlog based on business value and customer impact.
• Monitoring product performance, gathering user feedback, and iterating on products.
• Ensuring successful product launches and adoption.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in digital product management, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of agile development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Demonstrated success in launching and scaling digital products.
