Responsibilities or duties
- Provide strong instructional and academic leadership.
- Drive sustained high academic performance and school improvement.
- Strengthen safeguarding, discipline, and learner welfare systems.
- Supervise and mentor teaching staff.
- Ensure compliance with Ministry of Education standards and governance requirements.
- Promote a values-based, Christ-centered school culture.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Master’s Degree is an added advantage).
- Valid TSC Registration
- Strong understanding of the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC/CBE).
- High integrity and strong Christian values.
- Strategic and results-oriented leader.
- Strong disciplinarian with mentorship capability.
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to implement structured academic monitoring systems.
- Team player with leadership ability
Experience needed
- Minimum of 15 years’ teaching experience
- At least 6 years’ experience as Deputy Head Teacher in a well-performing Nairobi school
- Demonstrable track record of improved academic results and effective staff leadership.
