Background

The Public Service Commission (PSC) of Kenya is an independent constitutional commission established under Article 233 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010. The Commission is responsible for overseeing human resource management and development within the public service. Its mandate includes recruitment, promotions, discipline, human capital development, and ensuring the values and principles of public service are upheld across government institutions.

The Commission plays a central role in strengthening professionalism, integrity, and accountability in the public sector. In line with its mandate to strengthen institutional leadership and operational effectiveness within the public sector, the Public Service Commission invites applications from qualified and competent individuals to fill several vacant positions within the Commission. Role Context

The Deputy Commission Secretary – Corporate Services provides strategic leadership in overseeing administrative and corporate services within the Commission. The role supports operational efficiency through effective coordination of corporate support functions including administration, finance, human resources, and institutional operations.

  • Coordinating administrative, financial, and operational functions across departments

  • Advising senior management on corporate governance and administrative matters
  • Coordinating development and implementation of corporate service strategies
  • Monitoring performance of corporate service departments and operational units
