Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Critical Care Nurse to join our dynamic team at our Kakamega facility. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care to critically ill patients, ensuring their safety and comfort while working collaboratively with the medical team.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor vital signs and patient conditions closely.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Operate and manage critical care equipment.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions.
  • Document patient care accurately and comprehensively.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Educate patients and their families about care plans and conditions.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in Kenya.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Proficiency in using critical care equipment (ventilators, monitors, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
