JOB DETAILS:
Background
The Cook III position supports catering services within designated Ministry facilities. This role ensures the preparation and service of meals in accordance with established standards of hygiene, safety, and quality.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include preparing meals as per approved menus, maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and food preparation areas, and ensuring proper handling and storage of food supplies. The Cook III will also assist in planning meal requirements, managing kitchen equipment, and minimizing food waste.
Additional Duties
Additional duties involve maintaining hygiene standards, cleaning kitchen utensils and equipment, and supporting stock management by reporting shortages or spoilage. The Cook III may also assist during official events or functions that require catering services as directed.
