Background
The University of Eastern Africa, Baraton (UEAB) is a Seventh-day Adventist institution of higher learning located in Eldoret, Kenya. Responsibilities
The Clinical Instructor will be responsible for:
- Providing theoretical and practical instruction to nursing students in clinical settings.
- Supervising and evaluating student performance during clinical rotations.
- Developing and implementing clinical teaching plans and strategies.
- Ensuring adherence to patient safety standards and ethical practices.
- Collaborating with clinical facility staff to provide a conducive learning environment.
- Assisting in the development and review of curriculum and teaching materials.
- Participating in faculty meetings and other university activities.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Medicine from a recognized institution.
- A minimum KCSE mean grade of C+ or its equivalent.
- A valid practicing license from the Clinical Officers Council (COC) of Kenya.
- Clinical experience in a healthcare setting will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated proficiency in modern teaching methods, including the use of technology and simulation tools in clinical education.

- Current registration and licensure with the Nursing Council of Kenya.
- Proven experience in clinical nursing practice.
- Experience in teaching or clinical instruction is an added advantage.
