Our client is a retail brand in the fashion space seeking a Client Engagement & Sales Associate to be the first point of contact for in-store customers. This role focuses on creating a warm, welcoming, and enjoyable shopping experience, supporting sales, and building positive relationships with clients. It is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, is eager to learn, and is open to growing within a retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Experience

  • Welcome clients and create a friendly, comfortable in-store environment
  • Engage customers to understand their needs and preferences
  • Guide clients through available product options in a helpful, non-pushy manner
  • Ensure clients feel attended to, respected, and valued

Sales Support

  • Support clients through the purchase process and close sales confidently
  • Respond to basic questions on products, sizing, and availability
  • Encourage repeat visits through positive customer interactions
  • Maintain basic sales records as required

Store Support

  • Keep the store tidy, presentable, and inviting at all times
  • Support basic stock organization and product displays
  • Flag low stock levels or customer feedback to the Store Lead

Learning & Growth

  • Learn products, brand values, and the customer engagement approach
  • Participate in training on product knowledge and customer care
  • Demonstrate openness to feedback and continuous improvement

Role Scope (Clarification)

This role does not involve:

  • Management responsibilities
  • Supplier sourcing
  • Advanced fashion or design expertise
  • Prior senior retail experience

Experience & Qualifications

  • Naturally warm, confident, and personable
  • Comfortable engaging with people and building rapport
  • Reliable, punctual, and responsible
  • Interest in retail or fashion is an added advantage (not a requirement)
  • Entry-level candidates are welcome
  • Any prior exposure to retail, sales, or customer-facing roles is a plus
  • Attitude and willingness to learn matter
