Role Summary

To provide strategic leadership and oversight of all nursing services to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting Plainsview Hospital's strategic objectives of workforce excellence, patient satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial sustainability.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN).
• MBA in Healthcare Management, Strategic Management, or any leadership discipline (Mandatory).

Licensing & Registration

• Registered Nurse with a valid practice license from the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).

Experience

• Minimum of 7 years of nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a progressive leadership/management role.

Specialized Clinical Knowledge

• Demonstrated experience handling ICU, Maternity, and Theatre departments.

Regulatory Knowledge

• Strong understanding of Ministry of Health (MOH) regulations, SafeCare standards, and clinical governance frameworks.

Leadership Skills

•  Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
