Lake Ol Bolosat Resort Park Lodge, located in Nyahururu, is looking for a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team.
Responsibilities or duties
- Prepare and present high-quality meals in line with our standards
- Develop creative and diverse menus
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
- Manage food stock and minimize wastage
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Ability to plan menus, control portions, and manage food costs effectively
- Solid understanding of kitchen operations, including stock control and ordering
- Strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong leadership skills and ability to supervise kitchen staff
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Experience needed
- Minimum 2–3 years’ proven experience as a Chef in a busy hotel or restaurant

- Professional training or certification in Culinary Arts is an added advantage
