Job Summary

The Branch manager is responsible for leading sales agents in their allocated region, driving the acquisition and growth of clients across all company’s products. The role requires high-level sales strategy, leadership, mentoring, and a strong understanding of lending practices.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive disbursement growth.
  • Set clear performance targets and monitor progress across all sales teams.
  • Identify market trends and competitor activities to refine approach and positioning.

Team Supervision & Performance Management

  • Supervise and support the sales agents, by providing directions to help them achieve their targets.
  • Conduct regular coaching, field visits, and performance reviews for the agents
  • Implement training programs and team motivation strategies.
  • Recruit /headhunt and train agents
  • Develop and Implement strategies to make dormant agents active

Sales Execution & Client Engagement

  • Ensure effective lead generation, customer engagement, and high loan conversion rates.
  • Drive quality customer service and ensure client satisfaction across all touchpoints.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure sales processes adhere to internal policy, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed performance reports and insights for senior management.
  • Collaborate with credit and other team members to improve sales effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing or related field
  • 5+ years in sales within microfinance or financial services
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or senior team leader role.
  • Experience managing a sales team across a region is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership, mentorship, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute winning sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
