Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Branch Manager to lead the daily operations of our supermarket branch. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth store performance, deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales targets, and manage a diverse team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all day-to-day supermarket operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
  • Drive sales performance, monitor and implement strategies to grow revenue.
  • Ensure excellent customer service standards across the branch.
  • Manage and supervise staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Maintain high standards of merchandising, inventory control, and stock availability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and food safety standards.
  • Prepare regular operational reports and communicate branch performance to senior management.
  • Resolve customer complaints and operational challenges promptly and professionally.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Retail Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in retail management (supermarket experience is highly preferred).
  • Proven track record in sales management, customer service, and store operations.
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills (team supervision, coaching, conflict resolution).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Inventory and stock management knowledge (including shrinkage control).
  • Ability to analyze sales trends, set targets, and manage budgets.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
