Job Summary
We are seeking a detail oriented Medical Engineer (Biomedical Engineer) to ensure the safety, efficiency, and optimal performance of our medical equipment and clinical systems. You will handle routine preventive maintenance, rapid repair, calibration of medical equipment's to ensure uninterrupted patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, calibration, and testing on clinical diagnostic and life-support equipment.
- Rapidly diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment breakdowns to minimize clinical downtime.
- Install, commission, and inspect new medical machinery according to manufacturer and safety standards.
- Train clinical staff on the safe, proper, and efficient operation of medical devices.
- Maintain complete maintenance logs, equipment inventories, and compliance documentation.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering.
- Licensing: Active membership and registration with relant engineering governing board.
- Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of hands-on technical experience in a hospital or medical facility setting.
- Skills: Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills, technical dexterity, analytical thinking, and a firm commitment to safety standards.
