Background
We are hiring on behalf of our client, a growing bakery business, for a skilled and customer-focused Barista to join their team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coffee, attentive to detail, and excellent in customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages to customers
- Ensure consistency in quality, presentation, and taste of beverages
- Provide excellent customer service and handle customer inquiries professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and work area
- Operate coffee machines and equipment efficiently
- Manage stock levels and report any shortages
- Support overall bakery operations when required
Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage recipes
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and hygiene standards
- Presentable, friendly, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
