Responsibilities or duties,

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Specific duties and responsibilities will include: -

• Carrying out feasibility studies;
• Planning and designing water supply and sewerage infrastructures; and
• Carrying out research activities in various aspects of water, sewerage and hydraulic systems.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills),

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution;
• Be registered by the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya as Graduate Engineer; and
• Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution.

Experience needed,

This is an entry and training grade.
