AREA SALES MANAGER – COAST Job Summary About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead our sales operations in Coast, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager Kenya East. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and managing a team of sales representatives to achieve business objectives. Main Responsibilities ✓ Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve your area targets. ✓ Recruiting the sales staff under your watch in line with the company policy. ✓ Setting targets for the sales staff. (commission agents /Merchandisers) ✓ Ensure distribution & sales targets are met. ✓ Guiding the sales force in Identifying potential clients to introduce and sell the company products to ✓ Ensure distributor credit policy is adhered to. ✓ Develop effective weekly/monthly sales itinerary or route plan that minimizes wastage of resources and time but achieves maximum results ✓ Ensuring that the products are available in retail outlets consistently growing the shelve space for all products to achieve prominence and take a leading position. ✓ Implement stock inventory levels and guide on FIFO to staff and distribution network to ensure no expiries, no stock outs and minimize damages at all levels within the sales region. ✓ Constantly appraise the distribution system within the sales territory to avoid unnecessary bottlenecks and improve efficiency ✓ Manage, monitor, appraise and evaluate the performance of staff reporting to you to ensure delivery of targets ✓ Submit weekly sales report and detailed monthly report that must cover but not limited to; • Competitor activities • Market trends

Reporting and presentation skills ✓ Have a valid driving license Background in Coast Region in a sales role will be an added advantage
Degree in sales and marketing or related course ✓ 3-4 years working experience in FMCG is a MUST. ✓ Exceptional communication and customer service ✓ Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Advanced Certificate in Sales Management
