JOB DETAILS:
Background
The Animal Husbandry Assistant III role supports livestock development, extension services, and animal production activities under the State Department for Livestock Development. This position contributes directly to improving livestock management and productivity.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include assisting in the implementation of livestock programs, supporting data collection on animal production and health, and participating in field activities related to animal husbandry. The role may involve supporting farmers through demonstrations, extension support, and routine livestock management activities.
Additional Duties
Additional duties include assisting in record-keeping related to livestock programs, supporting veterinary or technical officers during field operations, and participating in awareness and outreach initiatives. Any other livestock-related duties assigned by supervisors will be undertaken as required.
