JOB DETAILS:

Are you a detail-oriented accountant with a passion for precision? Our client, a major pharmaceutical company with a nationwide chain of retail pharmacies, is looking for a General Accountant - Payables to manage their financial operations.

This is your chance to play a key role in a company that makes a difference, ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of supplier payments across a multi-branch network.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Has CPA Part II or above (CPA-K is preferred).
• Possesses 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or a general accounting role.
• Has strong knowledge of Kenyan tax laws (VAT, WHT) and accounting standards.
• Experience in Pharmaceutical, FMCG, or multi-branch operations is a major plus!

Key Responsibilities:

• Process supplier invoices and maintain the accounts payable ledger.
• Prepare payment schedules and process payments via EFT, cheques, etc.
• Reconcile supplier statements and support month-end closing.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: bachelor degree
