Job Overview
Xaji Gate Service is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accountant & Payroll Coordinator to manage our internal financial operations and support accounting tasks for our international clients.
The ideal candidate should be reliable, professional, and able to handle sensitive financial information with strict confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Maintain accurate daily bookkeeping and financial records.
- Reconcile accounts, track expenses, and organise financial documentation.
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial summaries for management review.
- Process invoices and ensure timely settlement of financial obligations.
- Support budgeting, cash flow tracking, and financial planning activities.
Payroll Coordination
- Process staff payroll based on attendance and approved timesheets.
- Prepare weekly/monthly payroll summaries and payslips.
- Maintain accurate logs for working hours, leave days, deductions, and adjustments.
- Ensure payroll data is accurate, up-to-date, and securely stored.
Reporting & Administration
- Generate regular financial reports for management.
- Maintain internal financial databases and spreadsheets.
- Monitor compliance with internal company financial policies.
- Work closely with management to improve financial processes.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or payroll roles.
- Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Experience with any accounting software is an added advantage.
- Excellent accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
