JOB DETAILS:
Social Welfare Officer III - CPSB 11 (17 Posts)

Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to senior officer, the duties and responsibilities at this level will entails:
• Identify those in need.
• Research and refer client to community resources.
• Work with individuals, families and groups.
• Handling social problems.
• Addressing the psychosocial effects
• Counselling especially in cases associated with pandemic diseases, Mental illness, HIV/AIDS, epilepsy etc
• Any other duty as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements for Appointment
For direct appointment to this grade, a candidate must have;
• Diploma in any of the following disciplines; Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology, Mental Health, Counselling or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Certificate in computer application skills.
