Job Specifications
The Senior Driver is responsible to the Senior Administration Officer for: -
• Chauffeuring the assigned vehicle;
• Carrying out minor mechanical repairs;
• Recognizing and reporting malfunctioning of the vehicles;
• Ensuring security of the vehicles on and off the road;
• Ensuring safety of passengers and/or goods in the vehicle;
• Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle assigned to him;
• Ensuring that the work tickets are well maintained;
• Ensuring possession of all the requisite documents and tools for any specific journey; and
• Any other duties as assigned by the management.

Person Specifications
For appointment to the grade of Senior Driver, a person must have:
• Minimum KCSE Mean Grade C- or equivalent qualification;
• A good command of both oral and written English and Kiswahili languages;
• Possession of a clean and valid Driving Licence;
• A valid Certificate of Good Conduct;
• A Government suitability test for drivers;
• Computer knowledge; and
• Fulfilling the requirements of chapter six of the constitution.
OR
• KCSE Mean Grade D+
• A good command of both oral and written English and Kiswahili languages;
• Possession of a clean and valid Driving Licence;
• A valid Certificate of Good Conduct;
• A Government suitability test for drivers;
• Professional Craft and certificate courses
• Fulfil the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution
OR
• At least four years’ cumulative work experience
• A good command of both oral and written English and Kiswahili languages;
• Possession of a clean and valid Driving Licence;
• A valid Certificate of Good Conduct;
• A Government suitability test for drivers;
• Fulfil the requirements of chapter six of the constitution.
