JOB DETAILS:
Principal Quality Assurance Officer – CPSB 06 (1 Post)

Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to Director Education and Vocational Training, the officer will: -
• Supervise provision of quality assured ECDE & VTC service
• Oversee and address teacher management
• Develop and coordinate implementation of quality assurance systems in the institutions such as maintenance and amendments of regulations.
• Coordinate inspection of schools to ensure required standards are maintained
• Monitor, evaluate and review policies on standards and relevance in ECDE & VTC
• Contribute towards review of policy governing quality assurance systems and procedures relating to Education programmes.
• Collection and dissemination of all research data or information regarding ECDE & VTC services
• Carry out regular Quality Assurance and Standards assessment of ECDE & VTC institutions.
• Contribute towards staff development activities organized for academic and administrative staff in institutions.
• Provide information on emerging issues in education.
• Coordinate all research concerning ECDE & VTC services

Requirements for Appointment
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field from a recognized institution.
• Relevant experience of least five (5) years in senior management position
• Proficiency in computer applications
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance Standards.
