Key Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Animal Production or Bachelor Degree in Veterinary medicine or related field
• Over 3 years’ experience in field work handling animals
• Technical and practical competencies in Livestock Management
• Experience in effective performance management
• Ability to lead a team/team player
• Ability and skills in resource mobilization
• Have good analytical, writing and reporting and presentation skills
• Ability to manage and monitor performance effectively and set clear objectives for the service level performance
• Excellent interpersonal skills, time management skills and leadership skills
• Strong organizational, multitasking and reporting skills role.
• Undertaking personal research projects and actively contributing to the institution's research profile.
• Be below 45 years of age
