JOB DETAILS:

Key Requirements:
1. Managing contracts including drafting and reviewing and other general commercial law issues
2. Monitoring and ensuring regulatory and contractual compliance by the company.
3. Contract Management: drive contract lifecycle from drafting through completion of negotiation process, review and contract execution.
4. Product gate process management including participation of tender opening activities, supplier evaluation and business project initiatives.
5. Support in contract negotiation and collaborate with business teams on developing effective relationships with contractors and vendors.
6. Legal opinions and research: opinions/guidance in respect of commercial contracts being negotiated and signed as well as legal and commercial requirements of all product implementation.
7. Legal awareness training as appropriate on commercial legal issues

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in law
2. Diploma in Law.
3. Master’s degree in law will be an added advantage.
4. Between 12- and 15-years’ experience in with 4 years’ experience in Legal Drafting and Risk Management and 3 years’ experience in Legal Communication and Advocacy
5. Must have sound knowledgeable in Legal Contracts Management
6. Must be able to thrive under pressure.
7. Must be professional and a person of high integrity.
8. Must be knowledgeable on relevant legislation.
9. Sound knowledge on employment matters
10. Ability to develop and manage internal and external relationships.
11. Ability to cope with prominent level of responsibility and with confidential matters.
