You will be responsible for overseeing daily inventory operations and managing a team of inventory personnel. As our Mobility Inventory Manager, you will own the demand planning for the Mobility team, work on securing supply for mobility inventory, and ensure accurate inventory tracking while maintaining optimal stock levels. You will be the strategic leader who collaborates closely with Retail, Sales, Product Managers to support overall inventory goals and improve operational efficiency.
About Us
- In this role, you will own the rolling forecast for e-bikes and batteries, synchronizing projections with stretch sales targets and razor-tight OEM lead-times. You'll manage centralized branding and refurbishment operations, running the full returns pipeline from grading to refurbishing and redeploying assets for their second life on finance.
- Your responsibilities include designing smart stock flows for today's branches and tomorrow's expansion into new counties and regions. You'll drive high-performance 3PL partnerships across first-, mid-, and reverse-mile moves, setting iron-clad SLAs for speed, loss-and-damage, and cost efficiency. Additionally, you will execute end-to-end physical audits and real-time system reconciliations while surfacing sharp analytics on inventory performance.
- This is an on-site role, you would be working from our offices in Kenya, partnering with a diverse group of employees. You will be reporting to the Mobility General Manager.
Expertise
- We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). You should have effective leadership and team management abilities with experience in inventory management and overall supply chain processes. Excellent MS Excel skills are essential, along with strong data analysis capabilities and experience tracking KPIs. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are crucial, as is demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally.
