JOB DETAILS:
Industrial Development Officer II - CPSB 10 (1 Post)

Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to Senior Officer, he/she will be responsible for:-
• Identifying opportunities for setting up small industries
• Guiding up-coming investors regarding the industrial opportunities in the County and other parts of the country
• Collecting and providing information on policies regarding industrial development and promotion
• Organizing and facilitating industrial/Jua kali exhibitions in the County for the benefit of the local business community
• Facilitating, training programmes for the industrial community
• Preparing performance reports.

Requirements for Appointment
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical and Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Production Engineering or Industrial Chemistry from a recognized university
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in an industrial set up or equivalent
• Good communication skills.
