JOB DETAILS:
Gender Officer II - CPSB 10 (2 Posts)

Duties and responsibilities
This is the entry and training grade for gender officers. An officer at this level will work under a more senior officer. Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail;
• Collecting data on Gender mainstreaming, social-economic empowerment, Female Genital Mutilation and Sexual and Gender Based Violence programme and projects.
• Handling logistic issues relating to administration of training programmes on gender mainstreaming, social-economic empowerment, Female Genital Mutilation and Sexual and Gender Based Violence programme and projects.
• Counselling victims on Gender Based Violence.
• Performing any other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements for Appointment
• Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Gender Studies, Gender and Development, Sociology, Business Administration (Finance/ Entrepreneurship Option), Anthropology, Counselling and psychology, Economics Law or any other relevant Social Science from a recognized institution.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
