JOB DETAILS:
Energy Technician II - CPSB 11 (2 Posts)

Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Energy Engineer, the officer will :-
• Respond to power failures in various sites
• Troubleshoot and repair power equipment
• Carry out preventive maintenance on electrical installations
• Ensure that all electrical systems are maintained and functional
• Complete service repairs, replacements, upgrades, adjustments and calibration on all electrical systems
• Report on the status of all power systems in various sites
• Connect wires to circuit breakers or other electrical components
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures
• Perform any other duty as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements for Appointment
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Chemical Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized institution
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a technician in electrical maintenance
• Very strong analytical and troubleshooting skills of electrical systems
• Have understanding on generators, electrical controls including electrical changeover(s) or transfer switches
• Ability to read/understand Electrical drawings and schematics.
