JOB DETAILS:
Director Management Consultancy Services – CPSB 03 (1 Post)

Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to Chief Officer in charge of Public Service, an officer at this level will be:-
• Heading Training and Management Centre
• Development of training schedules
• Preparation of training curriculum
• Co-ordinating and facilitating training and capacity building programs
• Ensuring effective and efficient provision of Training and Management Services to Departments.
• Advising on optimum utilization of skills in the Public Service.
• Assisting in conducting job analysis and evaluation
• Mobilizing resources and funding for the centre
• Providing linkage with Kenya School of Government and other training institutions
• Coordinating conferencing and hospitality services in the centre.
• Advising Human Resource Department on areas that may require training
• Supervise and guide staff under him/her

Requirements for Appointment
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Human Resource Development, Human Resources Management or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution/University
• Master’s degree, Higher diploma in Human Resource Management, CPS (K) or post training courses
• Must have served in a management position for minimum period of five (5) years in public or private sector.
• Trainer of Trainers (ToT) certification is an added advantage
• Demonstrated professional competence, administrative and managerial capability in management work
• Proficiency in computer applications
• Attended a management course from a recognized institution.
• Knowledge in relevant laws and professional standards.

Terms of Service
Three (3) Year Contract; Renewable
