JOB DETAILS:
Requirements for Appointment
• Be a Kenyan Citizen;
• Degree in Education, Anthropology, Sociology or any other related degree from a recognized institution in Kenya.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Endorsing forms for cultural practitioners;
• Overseeing Kiswahili as a national language of communication as well as promoting the indigenous language;
• Overseeing liquor licensing and control at Sub County;
• Endorsing cultural groups and individuals requiring assistance with cultural grants;
• Overseeing preparation of cultural groups for participation during county, national functions and events;
• Ensuring the development of creative cultural industries;
• Documenting viable cultural element of intangible cultural heritage for inscription and safe guarding;

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
