Vacancy For The Position Of Commission Secretary
The National Land Commission (NLC) is a Constitutional Commission established under Article 67 of the Constitution of Kenya. 2010 and operationalized by the National Land Commission (NLC) Act. 2012. the Land Act. 2012 and the Land Registration Act. 2012. The broad mandates of the Commission are inter-alia: to manage public land on behalf of the National and County Governments, recommend a National Land Policy to the National Government, advice the National Government on a comprehensive programme for the registration of title in land throughout Kenya, monitor and have oversight responsibilities over land use planning throughout the country, to conduct research related to land and the use of natural resources and make recommendations to appropriate authorities, and initiate investigations on its own initiative or on a complaint into present or historical land injustices and recommend appropriate redress.
Pursuant to Article 250(12). 252(1X0) of the Constitution of Kenya and Section 20 of the NLC Act of 2012.

The Commission is seeking to recruit an exceptional visionary, highly dynamic and result-oriented leader of high integrity to fill the position of Commission Secretary/Chief Executive Officer.
