Assistant Fisheries Officer III

Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Sub County Fisheries Officer the duties and responsibilities will entail; -
• Assisting in delivering fisheries extensions services including conducting field days and training fishers
• Collecting and compiling fisheries statistical data
• Participating in fish quality assurance activities and marketing.
Requirements and Appointment
• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade C (plain) or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
• Diploma in either Fisheries Management, Natural Resource Management or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and
• Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution.
