We offer a comprehensive professional development programme, with many local and international providers. We strive to identify potential in our staff and offer the appropriate training including both InSeT and leadership programmes, and back this up by actively promoting staff within the group. We also have links to a number of universities, both local and overseas; we are the local provider of the International Post Graduate Certificate of Educational (PGCEi) through the University of Nottingham.

Job Purpose
• Responsible for managing teaching, research, and related academic and administrative duties across the school.
Qualifications and Experience
• PhD. and a Masters in Social Sciences
• Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience, with at least three (3) years in a managerial position
• A minimum of thirty-two (32) publication points as a Lecturer or equivalent, of which at least twenty-four (24)
• should be from refereed scholarly journals.
• National, Regional, and international recognition for research.
• Supervised at least three (3) post-graduate students to completion as a Lecturer or equivalent.
• Attracted research funds as a Lecturer/Research Fellow.
• Relevant professional qualification
• Member of a relevant professional body
• Must have attained minimum of Senior Lecturer
