JOB DETAILS:

This position will drive employee resourcing, learning, performance, recognition among other key HR roles.

Duties & Responsibility
Employee resourcing:
• Conduct recruitment as per HR SOP time by time.
• Build a database of potential applicants that can be headhunted for specific roles.
• Write and develop job descriptions, person specifications and job adverts.
• Appoint, develop and retain the right staff.
• Maintain a good relationship with recruitment and placement firms with aim to securing good potential employment candidates and placements for company FLP participants.
• Oversee casual management.
• Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation.

Learning:

• Review periodically each role to identify the attributes and competencies needed.
• Assess employee capabilities to ensure no capacity gaps exist.
• Conduct training analysis, and training to enhance employee capacity and skills.
• Plan and sometimes deliver training, including new staff inductions.
• Training calendars and approvals.
• Oversee the Future Leadership Development Program.
• Implement company e-learning.
• Implement weekly learning activities.

Performance management:
• Monitor performance through performance dialogs and performance improvement programs.
• Maintain performance metrics, records, and reports.
• Ensure all roles remain relevant given the key attributes, competencies, and the changes in the industry.
• Review and modify job descriptions.
• Implement performance-based reward system.
• Obtain employee feedback through appropriate modes.

Career mapping:

• Ensure each position has a clear career development path.
• Develop interdepartmental rotation plan to grow cross-functional skillset.
Reward & recognition:
• Work closely with HODs to implement reward and recognition programs.
Succession planning:
• Coordinate competency development for successors as per the succession plans.
• Develop and monitor coaching and mentorship programs.

Compliance and stakeholder management:
• Maintain a stakeholder management plan based on stakeholders under above roles.
• Implement and continuously report on stakeholder engagement.
• Participate in all areas of compliance including QMS.
• Actively manage Risks associated with the above scope and beyond.
• Assist in Policy formulation and implementation.

Staff Records Management:
• Ensure all staff files are up to date, accurate and in the right format.
• Conduct bi-annual staff file audit.
• Maintain Group staff files i.e., for affiliates.

Employee relations:

• Ensure employees have working tools.
• Ensure all employees are in the company medical cover.
• Correspondences to medical cover providers for any medical matter that may arise.
• Handle grievances and implement disciplinary procedures.
• Implement company pension and benevolence policies.

Others:

• Assist Administration in coordinating.
• Participate in compliance audit exercises.
• Reporting.

Qualifications
• A Degree in HR Management/Development an added advantage.
• 3-5 years continuous experience in HR.
• Member of IHRM.
• A HR practicing certificate.

Level of Education:
Postgraduate Degree
